Calf Barn - Equal-Pressure Ventilation
Equal pressure ventilation ensures that fresh air is distributed evenly and efficiently throughout the calf barn. This ventilation system is particularly effective in calf barns where air leakage, challenging wind conditions, building location, or barn layout can affect airflow management.
The system maintains an equal (neutral) air pressure by using fans at both the air inlets and outlets. The inlets will bring air into the barn, while stale air is removed through the exhaust outlets, creating a balanced environment for calves.
The inlets can also be used to recirculate air within the calf barn, helping to improve air distribution and reduce heating costs during the winter months.
